This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the sixth generation "B16" (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 &
2012) Nissan Sentra sedan in changing a burnt out combination low &
high beam, turn signal or front side marker light bulbs in the
headlight assemblies. Owners of other Nissan vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, Pathfinder, 370Z, Juke, Rogue, Xterra, Murano and Quest may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. Replacement light bulbs with their part numbers are as follows: Dual Low & High Beam Headlight # H13, Front Turn Signal # 3457A or 3457NA and Front Side Marker # 194. No tools are needed to change any of the bulbs in either the driver or passenger side headlight housings. |

Pry Out Red Lock Tab |
Press Release Button |
Pull Off Power Plug |
The first two steps
are to open the hood and then move to the side of the vehicle with the burnt
out bulb. The combination Low & High Beam (dual filament) headlight bulb is located near the bottom of the headlight assembly. Reach in behind the headlight housing and locate the green plastic power connector on the base of the old low/high beam bulb. Use either your fingernail or a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry out the red locking tab on the power plug towards the rear of the car. Then press down the release tab on the electrical connector and slide it straight off the base of the old bulb. |

Try to avoid

anything greasy in the engine bay. If you do get the new bulb dirty, wipe it clean with an alcohol moistened paper towel. Insert the new # H13 bulb in to the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. I'd recommend using the Sylvania H13 headlight bulbs. |

Push the electrical
