No tools are required to access and replace the key fob battery.

Gently snap the battery cover closed.

Make sure that the battery cover is securely in place and flush with the rest of the fob at every edge.

To test the new key fob battery, stand near your LaCrosse and press the "Unlock" or "Lock" buttons.

If the new battery is working properly, you should see the parking lights flash and hear the door locks opening or closing.
