This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2nd generation 1998-2011 Ford Crown Victoria in replacing a
burnt out high mount third brake light bulb in the housing on the
rear deck. Owner's of other related "Panther" platform Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicles such as the Grand Marquis, Marauder, and Town Car, may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement high mount stop light bulb is part # 912 available from manufacturers such as Sylvania, PIAA, GE, Philips, and Putco. If you would like to have a brighter third brake light, replace both bulbs with compatible 912 LED bulbs. The only tool needed to access the two high mount 3rd brake light bulbs is a standard sized Phillips head screwdriver. |
