This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the updated 6th generation (2013, 2014 and probably also
the 2015 model year) Ford
Taurus sedan in changing a burnt out reverse light bulb in the tail
light assemblies. Owners of other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles with similar tail light housings such as the Fiesta, Fusion, Focus, C-Max, MKS, MKZ, Milan, Grand Marquis, Mariner and may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement reverse light bulb for the 2013, 2014 & 2015 models is part number 921. The 2010, 2011 & 2012 models use the following bulbs: Brake # 3057, Turn Signal # 7440A and Reverse (2011-2012) # 5008 or (2010 Taurus) # 7440. The tools needed to access the reverse bulbs include a flathead screwdriver and/or a pair of needle nose pliers. |
