2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) GMC Acadia in changing the rear window

Please verify the correct replacement rear wiper blade part number for your vehicle. The part number may vary depending on the model year and/or trim level. This tutorial was created with a 2016 Acadia. Early model years had a snap claw or pressure fit system that requires the old wiper blade to be firmly pushed off towards the window. If you have an early model year Acadia, check out my Chevrolet Tahoe Rear Wiper Blade Replacement Guide and also the Chevrolet Equinox Rear Wiper Blade Replacement Guide. |

On the newer 2013+

attached to a metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. Gently lift the wiper arm off the back window and locate the black plastic release tabs. Push in the release tabs and then slide the old wiper blade to the left (driver) side to disengage it from the metal hook. |
