Fe Dome Light Bulb Replacement Guide
How to replace the overhead dome light
bulb in the passenger compartment of a 2007 to 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV.
This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2nd generation 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV in replacing
the overhead dome light bulb in the passenger cabin. Owners of other Hyundai or Kia vehicles such as the Tucson, Veracruz, Accent, Elantra, Veloster, Sonata, Azera, Genesis, Equus, Forte, Optima, Sorento, Rio, Soul, Sportage and Sedona may also find this guide to be helpful. A new bulb for the dome light of a Hyundai Santa Fe is part # DE3175 from Sylvania, Phillips, GE, Eiko and other manufacturers.You can also use a brighter DE3175 LED bulb. The only tool needed to replace the dome light bulb is a small flathead screwdriver. Insert the blade of the screwdriver in between the translucent lens cover and the housing. |

Gently pry out the translucent lens cover using the two notches near the buttons. | ||
Pull out the old DE 3175 light bulb using your thumb and forefinger or pop it out with the small flathead screwdriver. | ||
Push in a new #
DE3175 bulb into the dome light socket and push the "On" button to test the
new bulb. If you are installing an LED bulb and it doesn't work at first. |

Line up the
translucent dome light lens cover and gently snap it into place. Press the
"Door" button so that the dome light will turn on automatically when one of
the passenger doors are opened. For more,
