Hyundai Santa
Fe Map Light Bulbs Replacement Guide
How to replace the overhead map light
bulbs in a 2007-2012 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV with picture illustrated instructions.
This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2nd generation 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV in replacing
the overhead map light bulbs. Owners of other Hyundai or Kia vehicles such as the Tucson, Veracruz, Accent, Elantra, Veloster, Sonata, Azera, Genesis, Equus, Forte, Optima, Sorento, Rio, Soul, Sportage and Sedona may also find this guide to be helpful. A replacement map light bulb is Toshiba # W10W or Hyundai / Kia part number 1864310009N or 18643-10009-N. They can be very hard to find, but might be available at your dealership. You may also be able to use other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the Satco S4553, 912, 168, 194, 2825, W5W or an LED. The only tool needed to replace the map light bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool. Insert the blade of the flathead screwdriver in between the lens cover and the map lights housing. |

Gently pry out the map lights lens cover using the two notches on the edge closest to the rear of the vehicle.
Pull out the old Toshiba W10W bulb with your thumb and forefinger.

Push in a new #
W10W bulb and test it by pushing the button.
Other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the # 168, 194 or W5W may also fit. But I would recommend buying a Satco S4553, a 912, or call some dealerships to find a Toshiba W10W which is also known as Kia / Hyundai part number 1864310009N or 18643-10009-N. |

Line up the plastic lens cover, insert the side closest to the front of the vehicle first and then snap in the side closest to the rear of the vehicle.
