Gently Pry Off Lens Cover
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the first generation (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) Nissan Juke in changing a burnt out map or dome light bulb in the overhead console.

Owners of other Nissan vehicles such as the Versa, Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Cube, Leaf, Pathfinder, 370Z, Rogue, Xterra, Murano, Armada, Quest, Frontier and Titan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

A replacement map or dome light bulb is part number 2825.

You may also be able to use any other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the # 168, W5W, 158, 194 or a compatible LED unit.

The only tool needed to change the bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry off the translucent plastic lens cover.

Old # 2825 Light Bulb
To prevent from scratching the plastic surfaces, you may choose to cover the tip of your screwdriver with a thin micro fiber cloth.

Insert the blade of the small flathead screwdriver in to the notch on the left (driver) side of the translucent plastic lens cover.

Gently pry off the lens cover and set it aside in a safe place.

If the old bulbs were recently turned on, be careful since they might still be hot enough to burn your fingers.

Grasp the old bulb with your thumb and forefinger before pulling it straight out of the socket.
