This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the fourth generation (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and probably
also the updated 2017 model year) Nissan Pathfinder SUV in changing
a burnt out fog light bulb in the front bumper cover. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Maxima, Juke, Rogue, Altima, Xterra, Sentra, Murano, Cube, Armada, Leaf, Quest, Frontier, Teana, 370Z, GT-R, Titan, G25, G37, M35, QX56, QX60 and M37 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A compatible replacement fog light bulb is part number H11. If you would like to have brighter fog lights, install some H11 LED bulbs. The tools needed to access and replace the fog light bulbs include a Torx T20 star bit screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver. |

Pry Out Center of Fastener |
The first two steps
are to move to the side of the SUV with the burnt out fog light bulb and
then look under the front bumper cover. Locate the three Torx T20 screws and the one plastic pop rivet fastener that secures the fog light bulb access panel to underside of the bumper cover. Remove the three screws by turning them counterclockwise with the Torx T-20 screwdriver. Set the three screws aside in a safe place. Then pry out the center of the plastic pop rivet fastener with a flathead screwdriver. After the center of the fastener has been released, gently pry out the base of the pop rivet to remove it. |
