blades on a 2nd generation 2014 to 2021 Qashqai or Rogue Sport.

Rotate Away Old Blade |
This automotive
maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the second
generation 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Nissan Qashqai
and the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport (USA) in changing
the front windshield window wiper blades. Owners of other Nissan, Infiniti or related Renault vehicles such as the Rogue, X-Trail, Note, Versa, Altima, Maxima, Sentra, Juke, Kicks, Murano, Pathfinder, Armada, Frontier, Titan, Quest, NV200, Q50, Q60, QX50, QX60, QX80 and Renault Kadjar may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wiper blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 28" and Passenger Side 18". A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers include the following: Rain-X 5079282-2 & Rain-X 5079275-2, Bosch 28CA & Bosch 18CA, Trico 28-9 & Trico 18-1 and Michelin 8528 & Michelin 8518. No tools are required to remove and replace the blades. Lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself. Rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle. |

Push In Release Tab |
Pull Blade Off Hook |
Metal Hook - Wiper Arm |
Locate the small
black plastic release tab in between the wiper blade and the wiper arm. Push in the release tab towards the metal wiper arm and hold it in place. Gently pull the mounting bracket at the center of the old wiper blade down out of the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. |

Old Wiper Blade Detached |
Towel Protect Glass |
Line Up New Blade |
Place a towel on
the windshield to help protect the glass from being shattered, cracked,
chipped or scratched just in case the wiper arm smacks down on to the window
while you are replacing the wiper blade. I usually buy the Bosch 28CA and Bosch 18CA wiper blades since I've had excellent experiences with them in the past. |

Slide Mount Into Hook |
Lower Arm To Window |
New Blades Installed |
Line up the new
wiper blade with the wiper arm. Slide the plastic mounting bracket in the middle of the new wiper blade up and into the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. You should feel or hear the mounting bracket "click" securely into the hook. Double check that the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm. Carefully lower the wiper back down to the windshield. For the best wiper performance, I highly recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product that will repel water from the glass such as Rain-X. Be sure to write down the blade change in your SUV's service records. Please
