We stopped off at the "Si Como No" Resort & Spa to eat lunch after having spent most of the morning exploring the nearby Manuel Antonio National Park on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

The hotel's name, "Si Como No", means "Yes, why not?" when translated into English. It reflects the hotel staff's attitude towards any requests made by the guests.

Si Como No features two swimming pools, a solar heated hot tub, two swim-up bars, the Claro Que Si Seafood Restaurant, the Rico Tico Tex/Mex Bar'n Grill, a private THX movie theater, an art gallery, a gift shop, internet services, a free beach shuttle, and the Serenity Spa.

My favorite part about visiting the Si Como No Resort & Spa was enjoying the great views of the rainforest and beaches down below in the Manuel Antonio National Park.

Rainforest Trees
Si Como No has sixty rooms with either king, queen or double size beds and also four deluxe honeymoon suites. The rooms have fully stocked mini bars and views of either the jungle or the ocean but absolutely no televisions. But who needs a TV when you're in the middle of a serene rainforest?

Guests receive a complimentary breakfast of fresh baked breads and tropical fruits at either one of the hotel's two restaurants. If you need your TV fix, guests are also given a free nightly pass into the hotel's movie theater featuring a THX surround sound system.

We ate lunch at the Rico Tico Tex/Mex Bar'n Grill at the Si Como No Resort during the early afternoon. There were only a few other hotel guests on the grounds while we were there. Everyone must have been out enjoying the beaches or the national park. The service, food and view from our table were all excellent, which made us wish we had booked a room at the Si Como No rather than the Hard Rock Resort & Casino in Jaco Beach.
