The only tool needed to access and replace the light bulb is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool.

Pry Out Light Housing
Push In Release Tab
To prevent from scratching the plastic surfaces, you can either cover the tip of your screwdriver with a thin micro fiber cloth or instead use a small plastic pry bar tool.

Insert the blade of the screwdriver into the small notch at the front edge of the lens cover.

Gently pry out the light housing and remove it from the plastic cargo area interior panel.

Disconnect Power Plug
Pull Off Back Cover
Push in the release tab on the white plastic electrical connector before pulling it straight out of the socket.

Gently pull off the grey plastic rear cover from the back of the light housing.

Set the rear cover aside in a safe place.

Pull Out Old Light Bulb
If the old light bulb was recently turned on, it might still be hot enough to burn your fingers. Be careful when you remove the old light bulb.
