Rotate Away Old Blade
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the third generation (2016, 2017, 2018 plus the refreshed 2019 & 2020 model years) Hyundai Tucson SUV in changing the rear wiper blade on the back windshield window.

Owners of other Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles such as the Santa Fe, Kona, Elantra, Sonata, Accent, Veloster, Ioniq, Nexo, G80, G90, Stinger, Rio, Forte, Optima, Cadenza, K900, Soul, Niro, Sportage, Sorento and Sedona may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM rear wiper blade size in inches is 14".

A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch H352, Trico 14-A, Anco AR-14A and Valeo R14H.

No tools are needed to remove and replace the wiper blade.

Disconnect Old Blade
The first step is to lift the rear wiper arm off the back window until it remains in the raised position by itself.

Then rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm.

Continue rotating the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm until you feel the mounting bar pop out of the socket at the end of the wiper arm.

Rotate Blade Towards Arm
I recommend buying the Bosch H352 14" rear wiper blade since it has excellent reviews on Amazon.

Line up the new wiper blade with the end of the wiper arm.

The rubber blade should be pointing out away from the rear of the vehicle.

Pass the end of the wiper arm through the opening in the center of the new wiper blade.

Pop the mounting bar into the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm.

Rotate the new wiper blade until it is parallel with the wiper arm.

Double check that the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm.

Gently lower the wiper blade and arm back down to the back window.

For the best wiper performance, I highly recommend cleaning off the window and applying a glass treatment product that will repel rain water such as Rain-X.

Be sure to record the wiper blade change in your vehicle's service records.
