This automotive
maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the XV70
eighth generation (2018, 2019 and probably also the 2020, 2021 & 2022 model
years) Toyota Camry sedan in changing a burnt out front side marker light
bulb located at the outer edge of the headlight housing. Owners of other Toyota, Scion and Lexus vehicles such as the Avalon, Corolla, Prius, Yaris, Mirai, 86, Sienna, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, C-HR, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra, Venza, Hilux, RX 350, IS 250, IS 350, CT 200H, GS 450h, GX 470, LX 470, UX 200, NX 300 and UX 250h may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The compatible replacement miniature wedge base light bulb part number is 2825 (also known as part # W5W). If you would like to have brighter front side marker lights, install some 2825 LED bulbs. The only tool needed to access and replace the bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool. |

Unlock 2nd Fastener |
The best way to
access the front side marker light bulb socket is through the wheel well
liner. To make more room to access the bulb, you'll need to turn the steering wheel all the way in the opposite direction of the burnt out light bulb. Locate the two round black plastic pop rivet fasteners along the outer edge of the wheel well liner. Use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool to pry out the center of each pop rivet to unlock them. Then pull out the two pop rivets and set them aside in a safe place. |
