This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the XV70 eighth generation (2018, 2019 and probably also the 2020, 2021 & 2022 model years) Toyota Camry sedan in changing a burnt out front turn signal light bulb located in the headlight housing.

Owners of other Toyota, Scion and Lexus vehicles such as the Avalon, Corolla, Prius, Yaris, Mirai, 86, Sienna, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, C-HR, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra, Venza, Hilux, RX 350, IS 250, IS 350, CT 200H, GS 450h, GX 470, LX 470, UX 200, NX 300 and UX 250h may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The compatible replacement light bulb part number is 7444NA which is available from various manufacturers such as Sylvania, Eiko and Philips.

If you would like to have brighter front turn signals, install some 7444NA LED bulbs.

No tools are needed to access and replace the bulbs in either the driver side or passenger side headlight assemblies.

Pull Out Old Light Bulb
The first two steps are to open the hood and then move to the side of the vehicle with the burnt out front turn signal light bulb.

Reach in behind the headlight housing and grasp the black plastic base of the bulb socket.

Rotate the bulb socket 1/4 turn in the counterclockwise direction before pulling it straight out of the housing.

Carefully pull the old light straight out of the socket.

If you have trouble removing an old stubborn bulb that is stuck in the socket, try gently wiggling it back and forth while pulling it straight out.

Push a new number 7444NA light bulb straight into the socket.

If you would like to have brighter front turn signal lights, install some compatible replacement 7444NA LED bulbs.

Re-insert the bulb socket into the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn in the clockwise direction to secure it into place.
