We visited
the Alachua County Farmer's Market for the first time this past
weekend to purchase some locally grown produce and see what other
tasty products were for sale. The market is located near the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) station and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the intersection of NW 13th Street (U.S. 441) and NW 34th Street (SR 121). If you're using a GPS unit to navigate to the farmers' market, enter the following address: 5920 NW 13th Street, Gainesville, FL 32653. To reach the staff by phone, call 352-371-8236. The ACFM is open every Saturday of the year from 8:30 AM to 1 PM. I'd recommend going early since some of the vendors may sell all their products by late morning and leave before closing time. |
