| There was also some interesting wildlife on Tokoriki Island, not just in the ocean. My favorite creatures were the large fruit bats that could be seen flying every day around dusk and hanging in the trees. One morning, we spotted a palm sized brown spider perched above our heads on the patio overhang. Lastly, there were a couple of noisy feral cats in heat and a limited variety of small birds on the island. | ||
