This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the third generation (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013,
2014, 2015 & possibly also the 2016 model year) Dodge Challenger in
changing the front windshield window wiper blades. Owners of other Chrysler, Dodge and RAM vehicles such as the Town & Country, 300, 200, Avenger, Charger, Journey, Dart, Durango, Grand Caravan, and Ram C/V Tradesman minivan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The wiper blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 22" and Passenger Side 22". A few compatible replacement blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch 22A, Rain-X 5079279-1, Anco 31-22, ACDelco 8-2221, Michelin 8522, Anco T-22-UB, PIAA 95055, Trico 22-1, Valeo 900221B and PIAA 94055. |

Pass Hook Through Opening |
No tools are needed
to replace the wiper blades. The first step is to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself. Rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle. Press the small black plastic release tab on the plastic mounting bracket in towards the metal wiper arm. Slide the old wiper blade down to remove the mounting bracket from the hook at the end of the wiper arm. |

Towel - Protect Glass |
Metal Hook - Wiper Arm |
Line Up New Blade |
Place a towel down
on the windshield to protect the glass from being cracked, shattered,
chipped or scratched just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down on the
window while you are changing the blade. I recommend buying the Bosch 22A wiper blades since they have excellent reviews on Amazon. Line up the metal hook with the opening in the center of the new wiper blade. The rubber blade on the wiper should be facing out away from the vehicle. |

Pass Hook Through New Blade |
Pull Bracket Up In Hook |
Lower Wiper To Window |
Pass the metal hook
through the opening in the new wiper blade. Rotate the new wiper blade until it is parallel with the metal wiper arm. Slide the plastic mounting bracket in the center of the new blade up and in to the metal hook until it clicks securely in place. Gently lower the wiper blade down to the windshield. For the best wiper performance, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product such as Rain-X or Zaino Glass Polish. For more,
