This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the second generation (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) GM Chevy Equinox
in replacing the rear windshield wiper blade. Owners of other GM vehicles such as the Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Volt, Malibu, Impala, Camaro, Corvette, Traverse, Tahoe, Suburban, Colorado, Avalanche, Silverado, Verano, Encore, Regal, LaCrosse, Encore, Enclave, Canyon, Sierra, Terrain, Acadia, Yukon, Savana, ATS, XTS, CTS, SRX and Escalade may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A few compatible replacement 13" rear window wiper blades include the following with their part numbers: Bosch 13-CA, Anco # 91-13, Anco 31-13, Anco 30-13 (Winter Blade), ClearPlus # 20131 and Bosch 40513.No tools are needed to replace the rear wiper blade. |

![]() Slide To Left - Remove |
The first step is
to lift up the black plastic wiper blade cover at the base of the arm. Slide the cover to the left (driver side) to disengage the hook on the underside of the cover. Set the cover aside in a safe place. |

![]() Pull Blade Off To Right |
Press the release
tab at the center of the wiper blade and pull the blade off the metal hook
by sliding it to the right. Don't let the metal wiper blade arm slap against the glass to avoid having it cause a crack, chip or scratch. I recommend buying the Bosch 13-CA rear wiper blade since it has great reviews on Amazon. |
