This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2nd generation (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013)
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in replacing the key fob battery. Owners of other General Motors vehicles such as the GMC Sierra, Terrain, Acadia, Yukon, Savana, Chevy Colorado, Avalanche, Express, Equinox, Traverse, Tahoe, Suburban, Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Volt, Malibu, Impala, SS, Camaro, Corvette, Verano, Regal, LaCrosse, Encore, and Enclave may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement coin cell (A.K.A. "button" or "watch") key fob battery is part # CR2032 from manufacturers such as Maxell, Sony, Energizer, Panasonic, and Duracell. The only tool needed to replace the battery is a small flathead screwdriver. |
