Rotate Old Blade Away

Squeeze Together Tabs
The first step is to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself.

Rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle.

Locate the two black plastic tabs that resemble insect wings.

Gently squeeze together the two tabs towards each other to release the old wiper blade's mounting bracket.

Rotate Old Blade Off Hook
Rotate the old wiper blade away from the metal wiper arm to disengage the mounting bracket.

Continue rotating the old wiper blade until you can lift it off the small metal hook at the end of the wiper arm.

Metal Hook - Wiper Arm
Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being shattered, chipped, cracked or scratched just in case the wiper arm smacks down on to the window while you are replacing the wiper blade.

I usually buy the Bosch 24-CA and Bosch 21-CA wiper blades since they have great reviews on Amazon.

New Wiper Blade Installed
Gently lower the wiper arm down to the windshield.

For the best wiper performance, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product such as Rain-X or Zaino Bros Glass Polish.
