are from a trip to the Cayman Islands where we stayed at the Grand
Cayman Marriott Beach Resort & Hotel. The Cayman Islands are located in the Caribbean Sea and belong to the British collection of overseas territories. Grand Cayman is the largest and most visited of the three islands. Tourism is the nation's largest source of income and the local residents enjoy a high standard of living with an average income of $42,000.00 per person. We flew into the George Town Owen Roberts International Airport on Spirit Airlines and had no trouble getting a taxi to take us to the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort since it was the low season. Another option for traveling to Grand Cayman is by cruise ship. Hundreds of cruise liners arrive in the George Town port each year. |

| Some of the major tourist attractions on Grand Cayman Island include the pristine "Seven Mile Beach", the Pedro St. James Castle in Bodden Town, the Stingray City snorkeling center, the MV Keith Tibbetts shipwreck scuba diving hot spot, and the endangered Blue Dragon Iguana. | ||
