The Honda CBR 600 F2
was unquestionably the best sportbike motorcycle that money could buy
back in 1992. It followed the revolutionary Honda 600 Hurricane which
thrilled both race bike enthusiasts and street riders with it's power,
acceleration, torque, handling and comfort. The images in this photo album are from 2000 so the Honda CBR 600 F2 was no longer the king of sportbike motorcycles by a long shot. But my friend kept his bike in such pristine condition with impeccable maintenance that I had to take some pictures of it. By current sportbike motorcycle standards the 1992 Honda CBR 600 F2 was lacking but still not a slouch either. My friend would regularly out ride other members of the
biker crew with his 10 year old motorcycle. |

By the time my
friend sold his 1992 Honda CBR 600 F2 sportbike motorcycle, it had only
15,000 miles on the odometer.
So in 10 years the bike hadn't been ridden
very much early in it's life and most of those miles were put on by the
second owner who used it as his only means of transportation. |
