This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the third generation (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010) Honda Odyssey minivan in changing the rear wiper blade on the back windshield window.

Owners of other Honda or Acura vehicles such as the Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, CR-Z, HR-V, Fit, Element, Insight, Pilot, Ridgeline, Clarity, Crosstour, Elysion, ILX, TSX, TLX, TL, RLX, RDX, NSX and MDX may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM rear wiper blade size in inches is 16".

A few compatible replacement rear wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: ANCO AR-16B, Michelin 9516, Valeo R16E, Trico Exact Fit 16-B and Bosch H410.

No tools are needed to remove and replace the wiper blade.

Pop Bar Out of Socket
The first step is to lift the rear wiper arm off the back windshield window.

Then rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle.

Continue rotating the old wiper blade until it is almost perpendicular with the wiper arm.

Gently pop the mounting bar in the center of the old wiper blade out of the "C" shaped socket

Mounting Bar - Center Blade
You'll notice that their is a "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm.

There is also a black plastic mounting bar in the center of the old wiper blade.

I recommend buying the ANCO AR-16B replacement rear wiper blade since it has excellent reviews from other Odyssey owners on Amazon.

Rear Wiper Blade Replaced
Gently lower the wiper blade and arm to the back windshield window.

For the best wiper performance, I recommend thoroughly cleaning off the window and applying a glass treatment product that will repel water such as Rain-X.
