This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the first generation (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020) Infiniti QX60 luxury SUV in changing the front windshield window wiper blades.

Owners of other Infiniti and Nissan vehicles such as the JX35, Q50, Q60, QX50, QX80, Pathfinder, Murano, Rogue, Armada, Kicks, Frontier, Titan, NV, NV200, 370Z, GT-R, Leaf, Maxima, Altima, Sentra and Versa might also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wiper blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 17".

A few compatible replacement after wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch 26A & Bosch 17A, Rain-X 5079281-2 & Rain-X 5079283-2, Michelin 14526 & Michelin 14517 and Trico 25-260 & Trico 25-170.

No tools are required to remove and replace the wiper blades.

The first step is to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself.

Then rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle.

Locate the small black plastic release tab in between the wiper blade's plastic mounting bracket and the metal wiper arm.

Push the small black plastic release tab in towards the metal wiper arm.

Hold the release tab in place and pull the wiper down until the plastic mounting bracket slides out of the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm.

(The OEM wiper blades were "Mitsuba" brand.)

Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being scratched, chipped, shattered or cracked just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down on to the window.

I recommend buying the Bosch 26A and Bosch 17A wiper blades since I've always had excellent experiences with the Bosch brand of wiper blades over the last few decades.

Lower Arm To Window
Line up the new wiper blade with the wiper arm.

Slide the plastic mounting bracket in the center of the new wiper blade up and into the hook at the end of the metal wiper arm.

You should hear or feel the wiper blade "click" securely into place.

Double check that the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm.

Carefully lower the wiper blade down to the windshield.

For the best wiper performance, thoroughly clean off the window and apply a glass treatment product that will repel water such as Rain-X.

Be sure to record the blade change in your vehicle's service records.
