This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 4th generation "JK" 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 &
2012 Jeep Wrangler in replacing a
burnt out combination brake / turn signal bulb or reverse bulb in
the tail light assemblies. Owners of previous generation Wrangler vehicles such as the YJ (1987-1995), TJ (1997-2006) or other Jeep vehicles such as the Compass, Patriot, Liberty and Grand Cherokee may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. Replacement tail light bulbs for the 07-11 Jeep Wrangler include the following with their respective part numbers: Brake / Stop Lamp # 3157 and Reverse / Back Up Lamp # 3157. If you would like to have brighter tail lights, install some compatible 3157 LED bulbs. The only tool needed to replace either of the tail light bulbs is a standard sized Phillips head screwdriver. |
