The zoo features over two thousand animals from all over the world and also the world's largest collection of species native to Florida.

Some of the Lowry Park Zoo's other attractions include the manatee encounter, camel rides, Wallaroo Station, Pony Trek, the Wild Australia Ride, a river ecotour, stingray feeding, lorikeet bird feeding, a petting zoo, alligator feeding, a merry go round, a mini-roller coaster, the Muster Ride, the "Horse Shed", the "Woolshed", the "Flying Bananas" ride, the Gator Falls ride, and the Billabong water play park.

Lowry Park Zoo is open from 9:30 AM to 5 PM every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. One day admission ticket prices for adults are $20.95 with discounts for children and seniors.
