This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 1st generation (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013,
2014 & 2015) Mazda CX-9 crossover SUV in replacing a burnt
out miniature fuse type light bulb or installing a brighter LED bulb
in the sun visor vanity mirrors. Owners of other Mazda vehicles such as the MAZDA2, MAZDA3, MAZDA6, MX-5 Miata, RX-8, MAZDASPEED3, MAZDA5, Tribute SUV, and CX-7 crossover may also find this guide to be helpful. The OEM light bulbs in the sun visors next to the vanity mirrors are part # F151684G3 available from your dealership. They are 12 volt 2 watt miniature fuse cap type light bulbs. Other compatible miniature "fuse" type bulbs include the ACDelco 13502343, TS-14V1CP, 6614F, Eiko 40842 - 6614F, Bulbrite 756320 - 6614F and the Putco 230003 LED. The only tool needed to replace the vanity mirror light bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the lens cover. |
