| A few friends
of mine from Orlando made the trek down to Palm Beach County in order to
participate in the Championship Cup Series race being held at the Moroso
Motorsports Park located in Jupiter, FL. Moroso Motorsports Park hosts about 70 events a year including Go Kart racing, autocross, rallycross, drifting, 1/4 mile drag racing, car shows, and street bike racing. Besides Moroso, the CCS race series also visits other tracks around the United States including Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Virginia International Raceway, Jennings GP, Firebird International Raceway, and Roebling Road Raceway. The Championship Cup Series was designed to allow a large variety of motorcycle riders to race their bikes competitively. A few of the race classes are Grand Prix, Superbike, Supersport, GT Endurance, the ASRA Pro Series and the Team Challenge. |
