The Tower
Shops car show has been taking place on every Friday of the week since
founder Michael LePurage II started the event in 1992. Michael LePurage II began the tradition to give his friends in the Florida Street Rods Classic Car Club, a place and reason to hold weekly gatherings. Over time the Tower Shops auto show grew to include almost every type of vehicle imaginable. Some of the event's success is owed to the very reasonable $2.00 fee to park within the show limits. If the vehicle is for sale, the coordinators charge $5.00. Spectators are allowed to check out all the exotic, unusual, custom and performance tuned rides for free. The Tower Shops plaza is located at 1986 S. University Drive in Davie Florida 33324, which is just south of the I-595 highway. The show's official hours are 6:00 to 10 PM every Friday. |
