| After
thoroughly enjoying a tour and free beer tasting at the
Yuengling Brewery, we visited the nearby USF Botanical Gardens. The gardens cover about 15 acres of the University of South Florida Campus with about 7 of those having been developed and the rest left as a natural greenbelt. Visitors are welcome in the gardens Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM and on Sundays from noon to 4 PM. The admission fee is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children, and $1 for students. To reach the gardens, enter the USF campus from Bruce Downs Blvd (Co. Rd 581) at Spectrum Blvd and continue to Pine Drive. |
