Since these are just more pictures of the view from our balcony, I thought I'd share with you some of the features that were available at the Omni Cancun Hotel.

The hotel offers free beach towels, tours by Caracol Travel, laundry and dry cleaning services, currency exchange, babysitting services, kids activities, water aerobics and beach volleyball.

If you don't feel like leaving the Omni Cancun Hotel to eat, there is a great buffet at La Paloma down the stairs from the main lobby. You could also go to the beach side restaurant called Pina Colada. Another restaurant is DaVinci which servers Italian cuisine. If you'd prefer to hang out by the pool they can serve you a small selection of burgers, and other snacks by the pool or jacuzzi.

As you can see by the sign in the middle of the row above, you shouldn't take the elevators during certain situations. I took pictures as we walked out of the back of the hotel past La Paloma Mexican Restaurant and towards the pool. The weather in March in Cancun is always beautiful. It hardly ever rains during the month of March and even then, the rain doesn't last too long.

As you can see in the picture above, the pools at the Omni Cancun Hotel are expansive and picturesque. There is still some construction going on but the workers aren't too much of a distraction. In the last picture in this page you can see the brand new ice maker machines that they have installed on each floor. Last year they had large freezer refrigerator chests full of bags of ice. It took a lot less time to grab some ice but I guess the ice machines are much easier for the Omni staff then stocking the chests with bags of ice.
