Al’s Finger Licking Good BBQ Review – Ybor City, Tampa, FL
My brother and I recently had the opportunity to eat lunch at Al’s Finger Licking Good Bar-B-Que located in Ybor City, Tampa, FL. I ordered the pulled pork platter with baked beans and the homemade mac & cheese that is only available on Fridays. He ordered the BBQ pork ribs with baked beans and cornbread.
The pulled pork was excellent with a smoky flavor that tasted great with or without an extra squirt of their barbecue sauce. I really enjoyed the texture of the macaroni and cheese especially with the crunchy bits of bread crumbs. I thought the baked beans were very good although my brother commented that they were a bit too sweet for his taste. I tried one of his pork ribs and was equally impressed with the flavor of the fall-off-the-bone meat.
Overall, Al’s Finger Licking Good Barbecue is a great choice for a satisfying BBQ lunch in Ybor City with a reasonable price tag.
