Akaka Falls State Park – Big Island, Hawaii

The Akaka Falls State Park is located just north of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. This park is home to the 422 foot high Akaka Falls and also the smaller Kahuna waterfall. Both are easily viewed from a paved walkway with some sets of steep stairs on a less than half a mile long loop. For more, click on the text link or thumbnail image below.

Butterfly Rainforest – Gainesville, FL

The Butterfly Rainforest exhibit at the Florida Museum of Natural History is the only place in the city of Gainesville where you can see hundreds of colorful butterflies at once. There are also a few dozen small birds, lush tropical foliage, koi goldfish, orchid flowers, and waterfalls to admire as well. Toyota Corolla Coolant Change Guide

Our 2005 Toyota Corolla had its engine cooling system filled with pink Toyota SLLC (Super Long Life Coolant) at the factory that doesn’t need to be replaced for ten years or 100,000 miles. For some extra peace of mind, I decided to change out most of the coolant by draining and refilling the radiator after just 6 years and 85,000 miles. For my complete guide, click on the text link or thumbnail image below.
