The Akaka Falls State Park is located just north of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. This park is home to the 422 foot high Akaka Falls and also the smaller Kahuna waterfall. The Butterfly Rainforest exhibit at the Florida Museum of Natural History is the only place in the city of Gainesville where you can see hundreds of colorful butterflies at once. There are also a few dozen small birds, lush tropical foliage, koi goldfish, orchid flowers, and waterfalls to admire as well.
