Acer Aspire One 10.1″ Netbook Review
A friend recently bought a new Acer Aspire One 10.1″ netbook computer and asked me to help set it up. I uninstalled some of the unneeded software (a.k.a. “bloatware”) and adjusted Windows for “Best Performance”. It ran even better than I expected after performing these procedures. Honda EU3000is Generator Maintenance Guide
We’ve had our Honda EU3000is generator for about two years. The only maintenance I’ve done is to run it for an hour about once a month and add STA-BIL fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. After checking the maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual, I decided to change the engine oil, clean the air filter and put the battery on a Battery Tender Jr. trickle charger. Bonnet House Museum & Gardens In Summer
My favorite time of year to visit the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is during the summer. The intense South Florida heat keeps away the crowds of people that visit the Bonnet House during the cooler months. This makes it a lot easier to observe and photograph the Brazilian Squirrel monkeys, swans, and iguanas that reside on the grounds.
Grand Prix Brake Pads Replacement Guide
I recently noticed some grinding coming from the brakes on my 2001 GM Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. They also exhibited quite a bit of fade (mushy pedal) during hard stops. I knew it was time to replace the pads and bleed the brake lines. As usual, I took pictures and created a guide for each procedure. To view them, click on the links or thumbnail images below.
