Chrysler Pacifica Minivan Hybrid “Set Date” Weekend & Weekday Charging Schedule Problem & Workaround Solution

If you own a new Chrysler Pacifica Minivan Hybrid and have had a problem with adjusting the weekend and weekday charging schedule due to the inability to set the date (month, day, year) on the clock, the following is a workaround solution to the issue.

If your Pacifica Hybrid minivan does not have the GPS navigation feature, the radio (stereo system / head unit) will not be able to sync the time and date from the GPS satellites. Here is the workaround solution provided by C.G. via email.

“I had a software upgrade done to at the dealer ship. This has solved the problem. There is no way to change the date in this car.

At the dealership I learned about a temporary solution to the problem:

One needs to go into hybrid schedule and uncheck the enable box and then click it again to check the box.
It should then charge according to the schedule chosen. This needs to be done each time when trying to use the schedule and it also only works when the date and time settings are correct of course.

Could you post this on the site for other people to see.”
