Many of the side by side refrigerators manufactured by Whirlpool such as the Kenmore, Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid and Jenn-Air brands are equipped with a push button dual ice and drinking water filter that needs to be replaced about every six months. The original filter in our Kenmore refrigerator was a PUR part # 9030 and the replacement filter is a Whirlpool branded PUR # 4396710.
