on our "must do" list while visiting New York City was to visit the
Empire State Building and go up to the observatory. This 102 story art deco landmark skyscraper is located at 350 5th Avenue, Manhattan, New York City, NY 10018. To reach the information desk by phone, call (212) 736-3100. The cost of admission for the Empire State Building's 86th floor observatory are $18.45 for adults, $12.92 for children, and $16.61 for seniors. If you don't have the time to wait in the long lines, you can purchase an ESB Express Pass ticket for $41.52. As you can see from the photos below, the long line for the elevator to the observatory was well worth the wait for the spectacular view of Manhattan, New York City, Long Island, the Hudson River, Harlem River, and the East River. |
