The Key West
Lighthouse & Keeper's Quarters Museum
Pictures, a video clip, & visitor info from a trip to The Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum in Florida.
|The best place
to get a 360 degree bird's eye view of Key West is at the top of the Key
Visitors are welcome at the Key West Lighthouse & Keeper's Quarters Museum every day except Christmas from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The entrance fee for adults is $10.
This attraction is located near the Ernest Hemingway Museum and not far from the Southernmost Point. The address is 939 Whitehead Street, Key West, FL 33040. To reach the staff by phone, call (305) 294-0012.
If you're short on time, I'd recommend perusing through the keeper's quarters museum in just a few minutes and then spending a longer period up at the top of the lighthouse enjoying the view of Key West below.
To help you identify the various Key West landmarks, there are clearly labeled photographs attached all around the lighthouse's guardrail.
|During our time at
the top of The Key West Lighthouse, I captured a few short video clips. I
edited these clips together into a short movie. To view or "stream" the
